Shocking ! : Reasons why UAE banned Nigeria and other 18 African countries

All citizens of Nigeria, Ghana, and 17 other African nations are subject to a visa prohibition by the UAE

 This is to advise you that as of today, October 18, 2022, we will not be posting 30-day visa applications for these nationalities.

Uganda, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Burundi, Republic of Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Congo, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Comoros, and the Dominican Republic are among the nations whose citizens are not permitted to travel abroad without a visa.

Authorities stated in a warning sent to business partners, including travel agencies, that all applications should be denied.

Any applications from the nations listed above will be rejected or returned. based on reports.

Some African nations had previously been prohibited from entering Dubai.

Emirates Airlines announced in December 2021 that eight African countries will not be accepted to travel through Dubai until further notice due to the spread of Covid-19

It's not clear however the reason behind the latest ban.
